Ok. Ok. Enough terrible chicken puns.
I love getting to work with other small business owners. So when one of the owners of two Dickies BBQ locations stopped me at Sumner United Methodist Church to ask about having a family session with me, I was ecstatic! Megan's family was full of personality and the boys definitely kept me on my toes. I had to pull out ALL my lame jokes on these guys. ;)
The family chose to do their session on their farm out in Orting. It's a gorgeous location with a 100 year old red barn, that boasts years of initials carved into the wood! Annabelle came up with a wonderful setup including hay bales and pumpkins to celebrate the fall season. Of course, the animals had to join in the fun as well! Between the horse who posed so beautifully behind the tractor (I think she was jealous I wasn't over taking her picture), to the silkie chicken who so kindly tolerated us, I was right at home with this family.
The family was charismatic and we all had a lot of fun! Even if when I said "Be Serious, Don't Smile" they all took me seriously. Lol! They still ended up laughing in the end. I really enjoyed working with them and look forward to visiting and photographing their farm and family in the future!
