Beautiful Woodsy Backdrops in the South Sound

You don't have to go far to find those magical woodsy locations.

Clarks Creek Park, Puyallup

The first and farthest location I love is Clarks Creek Park. This place has miles of trails and plenty of room to send your kiddos off with a sitter for a bit while you relish in your love for one another. With plenty of trails to get lost in, Clarks Creek makes a gorgeous backdrop for your engagement photos.

Wildwood Park, Puyallup

Another favorite of mine, this park is set back off the beaten path. While it's set on the side of a hill, it's beautifully kept and has that fantastic Washington Moss growing everywhere!

Riverwalk Trail, Sumner

Funny thing... I used to live right here, and never thought to use this great location for photos until recently. A short jaunt down the paved trail and you'll find a beautiful foresty background, plus the river and a few open fields. It's a great place to head for those who want woodsy locations without heading all the way into the National Park.

Tehaleh, Bonney Lake

The best spot is actually right in our own backyard. Tehaleh is a beautiful housing community that's built for the outdoor types. They've kept some gorgeous trails through the community and of course... check out that view of Mt. Rainier? What more could a girl ask for?
