Isn't really how every love story starts. I still remember hearing about Chris's efforts to get my cousin Ashley to go out with him just once. She was pretty reluctant to give him that first date. But once she did, it would be impossible to separate those two. They were married in January 2013, with their little one Kingsten expected shortly after that. I photographed their wedding that year, approximately 30 people crammed into my uncle's living room in Tacoma.
The styled session didn't go as planned. We had this on our schedule since Mid-April, and had been discussing doing new "wedding" pictures for the two of them a while before that. Yesterday we learned our original location wasn't available today, so we improvised and went to one of the families favorite places, Point Defiance Park.
The location turned out perfect. Even though the boys only gave us about half an hour for shooting, we had a blast. Ashley looked gorgeous in a white gown (from my client closet) and Chris's idea to add in the blue & silver heels tied her outfit to his nicely.
