I met Belinda with Happy Camper Cocktail Company through The Rising Tide Society, when I reached out for vendors to feature on the blog. She filled out my form and then asked if I'd be willing to collaborate on a few shoots for her drink features in The Perpetual You online magazine (see more on our Published & Profiled page!). It gave me the opportunity to meet her in person and learn more about this amazing personality.
Happy Camper Cocktail Company is like nothing else. They mix and serve "farm to bar" or "garden to glass" cocktails made with Washington state sourced ingredients that wow in appearance and taste, straight from their one of a kind vintage camper bar. That's right, their bar is mobile, a 1966 Aladdin travel trailer turned bar. Painted all white, she always makes an impression while blending in seamlessly with any style decor. Many of their farm to bar ingredients are sourced at Simple Goodness Farm in Buckley, owned by Belinda's sister, making this a business a family affair.
The passion behind Happy Camper Cocktail Company runs deep into their housemade mixers, which are inspired by the seasons and full bounty Washington state has to offer agriculturally. Belinda takes pride in serving these garden to glass drinks and is endlessly inspired by creating menus to match each event. From PNW specific flavors like Marionberry and Huckleberry syrups, to classic cocktail mixers made the old way, the right way, like Grenadine from pomegranate juice, Belinda makes sure their bar mixers have thought, passion and flavor to spare.
Happy Camper Cocktail Company offers a variety of packages to fit every budget. The Marilyn package is the perfect bar package for a wedding, featuring three signature cocktails (including a welcome cocktail or special cocktail hour drink), beer on tap, poured wine, non-alcoholic beverages and of course, a champagne toast. All featured drinks are of your choosing, but Belinda will help you craft the menu to reflect your event's style and your tastes as a couple.
"Pick moments of your day that are important to you and your guests and make these things the highlights of your day, then let the rest go a little. Not every detail needs to be a painstakingly ornate production, but the things that will shine most for your guests and yourself on your big day are the meaningful and fun details that reflect you as a couple. For our service, we love to work with foodies, agriculture enthusiasts, crafters and makers, vintage lovers, wanderers & adventurers. They and their guests enjoy our services so much more because to them it isn't just a prop with a cocktail, it's a full circle experience and our little bar becomes the centerpiece of their evening."
